Allglass (Anglia) Limited were awarded the contract by Taylor Wimpey to design, fabricate and install the lift-shaft curtain walling, winter gardens and internal floor access screens to Block B of a five block development positioned adjacent to Norwich City Football Club's Carrow Road ground.

The development is a 9 storey quadrangle building with a landscaped courtyard at its heart. Block B houses one, two and three bedroom apartments. With stunning views over the city with its Cathedral and Castle a system incorporating slim profiles to maximize the glass area was of great importance.

Allglass (Anglia) Limited and Sapa Building Systems produced fully working cad details and carried out testing at a certified CWCT test laboratory to ensure performance.

The multi-material façades comprise large areas of glazing incorporating the high performance Sapa Elegance 52 system, Sapa 75mm Dualframe Casement Windows and Glostal 202 Dual Weatherstrip doors, glazed with the high performance energy saving glass and high gloss insulated panels.

Following the overwhelming success of Block B, Allglass (Anglia) Limited look forward to further involvement in the ongoing regeneration of Norwich Riverside.
